These Terms of Service govern your use of Relayer and the Relay distribution application (together, the “Service”), operated by Perspective Media AS, organisation number 936 463 096, Olafiagangen 3, 0188 Oslo, Norway (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service does
Relay helps authorised creators prepare, adapt, review and distribute creator-supplied media to connected third-party platforms. Features may include local media processing, destination-specific previews, metadata preparation, account authorisation, upload, scheduling and publishing. Some features remain experimental and may change.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may connect or publish to an account only when you own it or have clear authority from its owner. You are responsible for keeping your device and Relay access secure.
3. Connected platforms
Third-party services such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X operate under their own terms, privacy policies and content rules. Relay is not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms. Platform availability, permissions and publication outcomes are controlled by the relevant platform and may change without notice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process, format, preview, transmit and publish that content at your direction. You confirm that you have all necessary rights, licences, permissions and consents for the media, music, likenesses, captions, trademarks and other material you submit.
5. Publishing control
Relay is designed to show destination-specific previews and obtain an editorial decision before transmission. You remain responsible for reviewing the selected account, media, caption, privacy setting and other options before approving an upload or publication. Processing or acceptance by Relay does not mean that content complies with every platform rule.
6. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service for illegal activity, impersonation, deceptive mass posting, infringement, malware, harassment, exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, sexual content involving minors, or content that violates applicable law or a connected platform’s rules. We may restrict access where necessary to protect users, platforms, the Service or comply with law.
7. Beta service and availability
The Service is currently under development. Features may be incomplete, unavailable or subject to limits imposed by third parties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful publication, audience reach, monetisation or continued access to any platform API. Keep independent copies of important media and metadata.
8. Privacy and account disconnection
Our processing of personal data is described in the Relayer Privacy Policy. You may revoke a platform connection through the platform or Relay when that functionality is available. You may request account disconnection or deletion by contacting us.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available. Perspective Media AS is not responsible for third-party platform decisions, account restrictions, lost reach, deleted posts, interrupted transfers or indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms as the Service develops. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend access for serious misuse, security risks or legal requirements.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer or data-protection law. Disputes should first be raised with us in good faith.
