This Privacy Policy explains how Perspective Media AS processes personal data in connection with Relayer and the Relay distribution application (together, “Relay” or the “Service”).
1. Data controller
Perspective Media AS is the data controller for personal data processed through Relay.

2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to Relay account connections, media preparation, upload and publication functions, support requests and related service administration. General browsing and analytics on the Perspektiv website may also be covered by the website’s general privacy and cookie information.
3. Data we process
- Identity and account information: display name, username, avatar, platform account identifier and permissions returned by a platform after you authorise Relay.
- Authorisation data: access tokens, refresh tokens, granted scopes, expiry information and account-connection status. Relay does not ask for or store your platform password.
- Publication data: destination selections, titles, captions, privacy choices, scheduling information, platform responses and publication status.
- Media: videos, images, audio and related metadata that you choose to process or transmit. Current Relay desktop processing occurs in a private workspace on your device. Media is transmitted externally only when you direct Relay to upload or publish it.
- Technical and support data: limited diagnostic records, timestamps, error messages, security events, device or browser information and communications you send to us.
4. Why we process data
We process personal data to connect authorised platform accounts, provide previews, adapt media, carry out requested uploads or publications, report status, maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, respond to requests and comply with law.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, processing is necessary to provide the Service you request, based on your consent for optional account connections or publication actions, necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, or required by law. You may withdraw consent or disconnect a platform without affecting processing already lawfully completed.
6. Platform connections and sharing
When you connect or publish to a third-party platform, Relay sends only the information and media needed for the action you selected. The receiving platform processes that data under its own privacy policy and terms. We may also use carefully selected hosting, security and technical service providers acting on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Connected platforms and service providers may process data outside Norway or the European Economic Area. Where Perspective Media AS is responsible for such a transfer, we will use an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
8. Retention
- Platform authorisation tokens are retained until you disconnect the account, revoke access, request deletion or the token expires and is no longer needed.
- Media created in Relay’s local workspace remains on your device until you remove it or its local application data.
- Any temporary server-side media used for a requested transfer will be retained only as long as needed to complete and verify that transfer, and normally no longer than 30 days unless you deliberately save or schedule it in a future hosted feature.
- Routine diagnostic records are normally retained for up to 90 days. Security, dispute or legally required records may be retained longer where necessary.
9. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect authorisation tokens, publication data and media. Relay credentials are maintained separately from Scoopnik credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security, and you should promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or another competent supervisory authority.
11. Disconnecting an account or deleting data
You may revoke Relay’s access from the connected platform’s security or app settings. When in-product controls are available, you may also disconnect the destination in Relay. To request deletion or assistance, email waldemarfelidae@gmail.com with “Relayer privacy request” in the subject line and identify the connected account. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
12. Children
Relay is intended for authorised professional or adult creators and is not directed to children under 18. Do not use Relay to process exploitative material or sexual content involving minors.
13. Automated decisions
Relay may provide technical or policy warnings about destination eligibility. These warnings assist your editorial review and do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals.
14. Changes
We may update this policy as Relay develops or its platform integrations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
